Job Description :
- Making Meals
- Checking storage and quality of the ingredients
- Making and planning menu for a day
- Reporting to head chef
Requirement :
- Minimum 8 years of experience in preparing Cantonese cuisine, preferably in reputable Chinese or Cantonese restaurants.
- Mastery of Cantonese pastry and simple Western pastry.
- Food Safety & Hygiene Certification (local or international equivalent).
- Proven ability to design and cost a Cantonese noodles and pastry menu.
- Ability to modernize traditional dishes without compromising authenticity.
- Open to incorporating seasonal/local ingredients into classic recipes.
- Ability to work with menu development team for special events or promotions
- Previous experience in hotels, high-end Chinese restaurants, or overseas Chinese restaurants.
- Experience with banquet service and large-scale cooking
- Ability to present dishes with attention to plating aesthetics.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
