JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Social Media Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing social media strategies to engage our target audience, build brand awareness, and drive business growth. This role requires a deep understanding of social media platforms, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating compelling content. You will be directly in-charge in the project led by Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities
1. Understanding the Business Needs or Goals
Understanding the direction where the business goals or needs in the specific period of time.
Understanding the target audiences or market of the brands.
Understanding the industry of the brand that you are currently managing the social media accounts.
Converting business goals or needs into social media organic marketing campaign strategy.
2. Social Media Strategy
Develop social media strategies that align with company/brand goals and target audience.
Setting up key metrics and targets in social media organic campaigns.
Creating a content pillar which aligned with the brand narration as a foundation of organic marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that social media organic efforts are integrated with other marketing efforts.
Stay updated with the latest social media trends and technologies to ensure the brand's online presence is innovative and relevant.
Network with industry professionals and influencers via social media.
3. Social Media Content Production
Handling the production content process starts from creating a content calendar, content brief, content references, and creatives team delivering.
. Collaborate with Creative Teams including Creative Lead, Designer, and Video Editor to produce social media organic content.
Oversee the development of visual concepts, designs, and assets for marketing campaigns, branding, and content creation.
. Ensure the content created is targeted at specific audiences and has outstanding quality in terms of both the message/content and the visual looks.
Creating visual assets needed for social media engaging needs in the stories, community chat, or comment sections.
4. Social Media Content Distribution
Implement social media strategies to drive engagement and promote campaign initiatives across all major platforms.
Schedule and publish content on various social media platforms to maximize reach and engagement.
Engage with the audience in the comments and direct message section to build a community around the brand.
Implementing an A/B testing strategy in social media distribution to identify the best practices for each brand in content delivery.
5. Social Media Monitoring & Analytics
. Monitor social media channels, respond to audience interactions, maintain a positive online presence, and monitor social media metrics.
Use social media analytics tools to track and measure the performance of social media campaigns.
Analyze data to measure the effectiveness of social media content and campaigns.
Conduct audience research and analysis to better understand customer behavior and preferences.
Providing insights on content, determining what works and what doesn't for the purpose of improving content strategy and production.
6. Social Media Experiment
Continuously testing new strategies and formats in social media to expand reach and engagement.
. Conduct experiments to test the effectiveness of different content types, post timings, and promotional strategies.
. Utilize experimental results to optimize future social media strategies and campaigns.
7. Social Media Account Report
Regularly prepare and present reports on social media account performance key metrics to Project Manager.
Provide insights to internal teams on social media trends and audience preferences.
. Recommend innovative strategies and tools necessary based on social media analytics result to improve the effectiveness of social media marketing efforts in achieving business goals.
